Dear Bill,
First of all, thanks for taking my case initially. I was in a tight spot, already indicted, but you calmly assessed, analyzed and concluded that we could win in spite of the odds against us. Needless to say, we won the case, and with flying colors.
I've talked to a few lawyer friends on mine and they have never heard of a D.A. giving up an indictment to go back to the Grand Jury.
This speaks volumes of the reputation you have. You were recommended to me by another attorney. He said you were honest and he was absolutely correct. He also said you were one of, if not the, finest criminal attorneys in Houston. Again, he was absolutely correct.
Thank you for everything, Bill. Anyone who reads this should know that you and your firm are the best in Houston. Your operate with skill and integrity second to none.
May God bless you and yours.
Dear Bill,
Words can only begin to express my sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to you for getting me through the worst experience of my life. I was so upset, scared and embarrassed. Your professionalism, honesty and kindness were such comforts during an extremely difficult time. Your positive attitude helped calm me and as you said, "keep my mind in neutral" as we waited for the Grand Jury's decision.
Praise be to God and praise be to you for a job well done.
I needed the best of the best; I got the best of the best. I had you!
Thank you for being my attorney.
Dear Mr. Stradley and Mr. Chernoff,
I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate the work you have done for my loved one. I know you and the firm have fought long and hard for him. I know we made the right choice in your firm. Thank you for being so kind each time I spoke with you. My son is the most important thing to me and I just wanted to say thank you for helping us.
Dear Ed:
I do not know what I could possibly say that could truly express how grateful I am to you and your team. The last several months have been the most difficult I have ever experienced. In my mind, everything hung in the balance over the outcome of this trial: my professional career, my permanent record, and most importantly, my self confidence.
Facing a DWI charge was a degrading, humbling experience that left me feeling like a common criminal. I am now a better person for the experience. Observing the people who walking in the jail cell that night made me truly think about drinking and driving. The consequences, however devastating, could have been much worse.
I will never forget pacing the halls with you as we awaited a verdict. Thank you for your support and patience that made me feel like a friend, not just a client.
Bill Stradley,
Sir, you and your firm have well served your representation of my daughter.
After a number of resets and delays, the outcome was as good as it gets; the case was dismissed. All of your staff was courteous and helpful and as kind and consoling as could be. You are consummate professionals and I am in your debt.
I would recommend your firm any day. I wish you were here so I could shake your hand an say thank you in person.
Dear Matt,
I received your letter the other day informing me that my criminal matter had been dropped by the district attorney. This was certainly good news, but it is not the reason I am writing you and your firm this letter.
It is hard for one who has always thought of himself as a good example and has tried to be a good and honorable citizen of our great country to be in turn thought of and treated as a criminal. Criminals large and small are always criminals and I was most distressed by the thought of being ranked among those who do not respect our laws and the safety of our fellow citizens and act in irresponsible and criminal ways.
I turned to Stradley, Chernoff & Alford for help in removing a stigma improperly imposed. In doing so, I had to tell my friends, business associates and family that I was being charged as a criminal. Thankfully, you and your firm righted a wrong and removed the stigma of shame I carried. Please believe me when I say that I so appreciated you and your staff for removing that stigma. Also, I want to tell you that your staff always treated me with respect and with professionalism. They rightfully deserve some of the credit for allowing me to feel better about myself.
As for me, I will continue with my work. I will continue to be a good citizen and I will give respect to the Houston police force regardless of the senseless acts of a few of their ranks.
To Whom it May Concern:
Thank you so very much. You guys have done a great job for my family and I. Thank you for your professionalism and your legal expertise. My family and I can't thank you guys enough. This case could have taken months. You solved my case in just three weeks. You went right to work on the facts of our case. This has been the most frightening thing that has ever happened to my family and I. With your team at our side, our fear soon disappeared. If you are in a situation as I was, having this team of experts at your side is the best thing you can do for yourself. Thank you guys again for a job well done.
Dear Bill,
Wow! You really did a great job. Thank you so much for the great job you did on my loved one's behalf. Even though it looked bleak, and, at times I doubted what was being done, the result is what counts. Owning a litigation support company, I deal with people in your profession daily. Let me say that you are a credit to your profession because of your personal integrity and the way you deal with everyone you come in contact with. Thanks again and I wish you and your family the best.
Mr. Alford,
I had this thank you note since August 7, 2008, the day the matter got dismissed. Am I happy with the outcome? Yes sir. You can't imagine what this means to me and the many people in my life. Also, I would like to thank Mr. Stradley for being in court with me on July 17. I would not hesitate to call your firm if I or anyone I know need your services.
Thank you.
Dear Ed,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done in my case. I really appreciate the moments you spent with me talking about my legal issues, family and life in general.
You lifted a huge load from my shoulders and now I am enjoying my life with my kids because of you.
Thank you forever.
To Bill and all the gang,
I can't begin to describe how happy I am with the way things turned out. You are awesome!
It didn't happen overnight, but I can finally go on with the rest of my life.
Thank you.
Matt,
I wanted to thank you for your time and efforts in helping me with my DWI. I don't believe I could have been recommended to anyone better. I appreciated your up front and honest approach. I deeply appreciated everything that you did for me.
Thanks
P.S. We'll have to play golf sometime.
My sincerest thanks to all of you, especially Matt, for helping me through one of the darkest and most troubling ordeals I have ever experienced in my life. Losing my brother was extremely difficult and remains a daily heartache. The addition of the unwanted criminal proceedings which followed made it excruciatingly hard to mourn my brother and try to mentally prepare for the impending trial.
Thank you for all your hard work and your compassion. Thank you for always having the time to speak with me when I phoned. Most of all, thank you for taking the time to understand just how much my brother meant to me.
Thank you for working so very hard on my case, as I am sure you all do for everyone of your clients.
Dear Bill,
I don't know how I can thank you enough for all you have done for my loved one and me. Since I had never been a part of the justice system, I did not know how it all worked. Your expertise helped me ease my doubts and concerns. You are not only one fine attorney, but you are a fine, caring individual who I trust with my life.
Thank you for everything you have done for me and may God bless you, your family and your law partners.
P.S. Next spring, I will call you and maybe we can play golf.
To Mr. Edward M. Chernoff,
Mr. Chernoff, I just wanted to write you a thank you letter for helping out my daughter. She is getting her life together and getting past all of this. Thank you so much for being such a fast acting attorney who knows what he needs to do.
Matt,
I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to you and your firm. The dismissal of my case was a home run. I appreciate your time and expertise. Best to your firm.
I contacted you several weeks ago to see if you could represent me in a case of child abuse here in the Houston area. I have all but memorized portions of your vast array of web data in the effort to educate myself on matters related to this type of offense. I must tell you that your information has been instrumental in my being no-billed by the Brazoria County Grand Jury yesterday. Along with the support of the FAST organization and their prayers for me, your informational database has saved my life. How can I ever thank you for all you have done for me? How can a person thank the parties responsible for having given back his life? You are truly a godsend for the forsaken in this kind of despair.
My attorneys, Stradley, Chernoff and Alford were recommended to me in your website. In fact, I spoke personally with you while you were working on a case in St. Louis. It was then that you directed me to Mr. Bill Stradley. I must tell you that Bill Stradley has saved me from having these proceedings go forward. Mr. Stradley is a knowledgeable, caring attorney. He has the expertise to represent anyone caught up in these quagmires of false accusations. He has the utmost respect for your ability to step in and bring to a halt cases of this sort. I highly recommend Mr. Stradley. I really do not think that I could have survived this ordeal without his capable legal mind. So, thank you for pointing me in his direction. Through his professionalism, I have had my joy for living restored. He has also saved me thousands of dollars by quickly turning my case around.
Thank you again for allowing us all to tap into your huge storage of information. May God continue to use you in the calling He has given you.
To Ed Chernoff:
Hello Ed! I wanted to send you a letter to let you know how much I appreciate all that you have done for me. I've listened to some real horror stories about the lack of representation some people have gone through. I am so very fortunate that my brother brought me to your firm. Of all the people I've met, I fee the representation you gave me was excellent. I realize that the respect that the D.A. has for you and your firm is the reason for the leniency I was given. I would also like to say thank you for taking a few minutes of your day to visit me. It is unusual for someone I've known for such a short time to show me the kindness you have.
I have a job at a body shop. We paint tractors and trucks for PCT 4. I have been working on a center console boat that used to drag for bodies in the river. I met the captain of the fleet. He is very proud of the work I have done on his boat so he is supposed to bring another one when he picks this one up. It makes my time go faster by working at the shop.
Dear Matt,
Thanks for your advice and counsel during my stressful situation. Your professionalism and composure gave me great confidence in your ability and you did not disappoint. Please call me sometime. I still want to take you hunting.
Have a great Christmas and may God bless you and yours.
Dear Bill,
I couldn't let this holiday season pass without wishing you and your family the very best for the new year. I'm also reminded of the second anniversary of my loved one's sentencing and how very thankful we remain for all of your fine work on his behalf. He has now completed all of his jail time and has returned to begin his third semester at A&M. We discussed at our Christmas that if he had received even the minimum sentence rather than probation, he would just now have been released from prison and would not have finished high school or his first year of college. So again, we are so thankful for all your wise counsel to all of us and your skillful and tactful dealings with the court and prosecutor. We knew God led us to you and will be eternally grateful to Him and you for the wonderful results.
Dear Mr. Alford,
The both of us would like to thank you for your excellent legal expertise in handling our case and for your kindness in also lending a hand to the other students. Due to our recommendations, several friends of ours have contacted your law firm to seek your advice and legal guidance.
Dear Mr. Stradley,
I do not even know where to begin or how to say all I want to say. I know that at the end of writing this letter I won't even have told you half of what I would like.
I can't thank you enough for what you have done for my son and our family. It is an understatement to say that we are elated with having our lives back to what we call normal. What you did for us is something we cannot repay.
Our gratitude and sincere thank you over and over again. May God bless you and your family forever.
Matt,
I hope this note finds you and your family doing well. I tried my first case at the D.A.s office with you and Bill almost four years ago. I just want to say thank you for schooling me on how to try a case and helping me learn what's really important in our chosen profession. You are a class act and it was a pleasure working with you.
Please let me know if I can ever be of assistance to you or your law firm in the Austin or San Antonio area. I look forward to hearing from you.
